His video art work was shown at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and a one-man show at London’s ICA. Since then he has produced and directed a great many corporate, promotional and viral films.

Tom’s 1996 short film The Morning After was shown at a variety of international festivals and was chosen by the Southern Sceen Commission in a touring exhibition representing the best work from the south of England.

In September 2002 Tom launched the web site Pimple TV to develop and explore the potential of the viral video clip. In May 2003 he released a series of clips, supposed fragments from a lost 1950’s sex education film which attracted over a million downloads in a month, plus many emails from punters and professionals believing the film was genuine.
