The Short Best in festival CAN graphic
We knew that our visual style would be both cost-efficient and
delicious, but we found it hard to convince people it would work. So, we have produced a film which is both a stand-alone short and a blueprint for the feature film. It was also a great way for us to test and develop our theories.

We’ll be distributing the short at festivals, hoping that it will help to raise the profile for the feature and its director.

Synopsis
Having saved the world from the shape-shifting reptilian aliens, (see feature script), former pet shop owner Colin settles down in an out-of-the-way part of the world running a bar with his wife - former stripper and secret agent - Tina.
After a couple of years their relationship is turned sour by Colin’s taste for drink. One night, an attractive young woman hangs around after the bar has closed, flattering Colin and plying him with booze. When this Stranger gets Colin onto the subject of what he was doing on Reptile Day – that day when all of the reptiles' heads exploded - Tina’s suspicions are aroused…
